I changed out of play clothes and put a decent park of jeans and a blouse on.

FYI back in the 1970s play clothes were what you put on when you got home from school whether you were going to be playing or not, Jeans without holes in were kept for when you went out out and school uniform was for school.

As for dentists, it is the pain and discomfort that puts me off.  I am already in pain and discomfort so having to put up with more will be a real problem.  Also the last time I went the new dentist did not do a brilliant job and I now have to have a filling in an unusual place because of it.

Nasty chest and ear infections, so antibiotics and drops for the next two weeks.

so your acts of self care are sleeping, taking anitbiotics and using eardrops at correct time, and drinking plenty.

If you can't sleep I suggect a prescription for Netflix for a month.

I wanted to buy the set of 15 boring self care cards in a velvet bag that Hannah (daisychain) had made to sell but she'd sold out within minutes. Shame, I think they'd be really useful for me. Hopefully she'll make more.

After some years and since taking some supplements for the last year I am now able to cut my own toe-nails.

Thank you. I'll pass that on to my aunt. She has osteoarthritis, so could possibly benefit.  :-)
