You'd better have some hugs from me, then, Bule.

Hugs feel nicer shared, don't they?

 >bighugs< >bighugs< >bighugs< >bighugs< to all

Thank you so much. I've been a bit quiet the last few days. My pain wasn't managed and life felt unbearable some days but I've now got oramorph to take on top of tramadol when needed which is hoped will keep me going until my turn comes up in the pain clinic queue. I feel reassured by having it as at least 2 days I've been unable to move an inch without excruciating pain so to know I have morphine for those days is reassuring. I find the reassurance alone reduces the anxiety around pain.

I've also very stressful stuff practically going on, debt to deal with, which all feels overwhelming at times. But like you, it's taking one day at a time that matters and not thinking further than that that's important. And the more hugs the better.  >bighugs<  >bighugs<

Anyone know where there is a new spine store?

Don't know Fiz, but if you find one, could you see if they do new pelvises as well?

That has been done using 3D printing and thus far no problems after three years. (Not available yet.)

Oh yes. I remember now:

Better start saving my pennies for a 3D printer then.

I had a sudden image of what this must be like for the surgeon as well as the patient, and I think that matters.  Doctors are getting so much aggro so anything that keeps their job interesting or even fun sometimes is helpful in keeping them doing it, which is win-win for doctors and patients.
