Have a good trip. Are you going far enough north for the midnight sun?

My Mum and Aunt went on a cruise of the fjords a few years ago, and apparently it's quite an experience. I was as envious as all get out.

Have a safe journey and a brilliant time, Hurtyback >hugs<

Have a wonderful time Hurty.  The only Norwegian I know is posted below, it's not the proper spellings, it's just phonetic:

Tak - Thank you

Yaee hopeir vikinger invadirir hogisquer dee - I hope Vikings invade your garden shed

Ikkeh blee spist av eien isbiorn - Don't get eaten by a polar bear

Ikkeh blee beet av eien pinvin - Don't get bitten by a penguin

Mah Mey! - Feed me!

Bon Voyage!
Look carefully at the avatar, note what's barely visible in the gap in the rings.  I've highlighted it for you.

When in the RAF did several detachments to Norway Most of them to Andenes on the Island of  Andoya.

Be careful in what you wish for, God has a sense of humour

Hello Hurtyback

In 1978 I went to Bergan, STRAVANGER + KRISTIAN in Norway one big wheelchair problem is the road's in England we are used to the smooth tarmac while going from one side to the other (from one shop to the shop over the road but Auuughghgh the perma frost crack's + leave's big hole's so the local athorites use cobble stones + it is back harring (very painful) no wheelchair suspension
