 >biggrin< sounds a bit like what we had yesterday;  better today, enough to trust my laundry to the outside line, and I have had the novelty of actually feeling cold in the past couple of days  >hatandscarf<

Reasonably bright, but a bit breezy today. 15c.

I know its getting colder as the heating felt quite warm; I leave it on all year to do its own thing. Even the plumber who came to sort out the cold water tank overflow remarked on it. Normally I would sort out such problems, but my knees are getting a bit stiff for crawling about the loft.

Strewth, Huhn, that's horrid - is it usual to have heatwaves like that where you live?

Been rather on the nippy side in the mornings, though thankfully dry this week so far  >x-fingers<

Ophelia seems to have arrived. She doesn't seem that keen on a nice cup of tea and a soda ...

It got very dark around lunch time with a strange deep yellow light. No rain and then cleared. Temperature peaked at about 18c. Quite fine and sunny now but a breeze is rising. The worst should miss us on the south coast.

I've had that strange yellow light too.  I did not take the dog out incase it suddenly started to blow hard.  But it did not  happen.

I'm in the north west and on the coast too (~200 yards from the sea)
it's getting very windy right now with horrible sounding gusts.

 >lol< hope she hasn't caused too much disruption in your part of NI  >x-fingers<

Here in Somerset, we had the odd yellow sky around 9 am - I wasn't sure if we were going to stay dry or not, so didn't put out the washing as planned;  mind you, with the high winds, it would have probably ended up in someone else's garden anyway!

Just the usual - floods, power cuts, trains and roads obstructed by falling trees etc, etc. But we're still here.

The storm killed three people in the Republic. :-(

Yes, I heard about those poor folk on the news - condolences to their families  >dove<

At least things are quieter today, I've actually been able to keep the windows open for a while - only the temperature is down today after the unseasonal warmth, so will be shutting up shop and putting the CH on very soon!

Yesterday was very windy , We have a lot of high trees  around here  but they are still standing, but the wind was gale force on this hill and it looked as if some were going to fall yesterday.
Chilly here today , Had to put heating on.
You need to give love to receive it.
