Sunshine through light cloud here near Poole. No snow but a little drizzle earlier. Cooler but not really cold yet.

My son is traveling up from Bristol tomorrow so hope the roads are clear between there and here as he is traveling by coach.

Surprisingly, there was snow here this morning in sunny Sussex.  There was quite a covering this morning and still snowing when my husband left for work.  It's now raining and most of the snow is gone, leaving a soggy mess.

Lack of what, Lankou - did you intend to post a picture of persons made of  >sllabwons< ?

Soggy and wet in Somerset, as per usual, with a biting wind.  If we get snow that pitches here for longer than a day, it really is a hard winter!

In London we have had a few periods of snowfall, but it has not been cold enough for long and miserable rain has washed the residue away.

I am just a few miles away from OldTone, so have also had  cold, wet, miserable weather today. It feels as if the temperature is really dropping now though but I don't expect to get any significant snow. I used to say that we 'never' get much snow here, but we had a lot 2 winters running (2009/10 and 2010/11).

Just put the bin out and it is fairly clear with just a little cloud. Can see crescent moon and a couple of bright planets, probably Venus and Jupiter. normally means a cold night but doesn't feel frosty at the moment

There was snow yesterday evening/ overnight here near Manchester, but only a little.  This morning there was a bit of sleet then an hour or two of rain which washed the snow away - more rain late afternoon.  Gritters were spreading last night, will be cold again tonight so may be some ice tomorrow on pavements.  No polar bears here either. >lol<
