A Good Way To Introduce Myself
« on: April 22, 2014, 12:21:32 PM »
Hi everyone
I figured I could kill 2 birds with 1 stone and introduce myself and my blog together.
I am 34 and mum to 2 lovely girls and wife to the very lovely Mr H.  I was born with type 1 OI - osteogenesis imperfecta sometimes called brittle bones.  I have had various breaks in my life, my bone density is dropping, I can't write anymore because of pain in my hands and have chronic pain in my feet after failed surgery.  I survived a ruptured brain aneurysm and subarachnoid brain haemorrhage (SAH) 3 years ago but was left with severe migraines, even worse balance than usual, chronic fatigue, noise sensitivity and brain fog.  A few months ago I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia too and having managed for a while with a crutch now use a wheelchair for distance on the advice of my pain clinic nurse.
I mostly write about music on my blog which you can see here: http://adlibbed.blogspot.co.uk/
I also wrote about having OI here http://adlibbed.blogspot.co.uk/p/osteogenesis-imperfecta.html and I wrote about the SAH here  http://adlibbed.blogspot.co.uk/p/subarachnoid-haemorrhage-me.html
Anyway it is lovely to 'meet' you all and I look forward to getting to know you all.

Good to see you made it over to Ouch Too.

I checked out both the blog links  >thumbsup< >star< I like the 'Fragile Handle with Care' sign and also the 'Bang' picture because they both say what needs to be said in a simple way.

There is a Getting to Know you thread in the Cafe to so you can take a look and see a bit more about other members

Hi Feehutch. Just seen this. I spent years as a music journalist so I've just had a look at your site. It's good. Er, that's all I have to say.
