It's a little disquieting when they start holding Cobra meetings about the weather or is it just PR.

Dic, you can probably blame that woman who was on the news telling Cameron off because her electricity wasn't back on yet, after all that's bad PR for the PM and he can't have that can he?

Well this is not going to help the PR much.

It's the latter, Dic. The acronym COBRA just stands for 'Cabinet Office Briefing Room A'. It could be two squirrels and the tea lady meeting in there, for all the meaning it actually has.

I think we would be better off if it were.

Might get more sense out of them!

I just wish the Cabinet would go and stand on the base of the Eddystone Lighthouse for the next few days!

There was an Earth Quake not far from here yesterday 1.4 magnitude. Get those squirrels back quick.

Nah! It was just the waves pounding the shore.

Not sure the squirrels are up to the job. With all this water about I think the eels would do better, although they might not be quite as slippery as the politicians.

Cooler and dull, but no snow, fortunately. I don't think it cold enough to snow yet. Forecast is for rain with temperatures 4C or above.  >raincloud<
