There is one scam going round at the moment which says it has your password.  They say they have hacked your emails and have pictures of you watching dirty videos.  If you do not send money in bitcoins they will spread the pictures of you to all the people on your email list.  It is a scam, I have had it and so have two other people on my email list.  I do not have a webcam so none can have seen me working on my computer and the password they say is mine is wrong.

Surely nobody would fall for this unless they had been watching naughty things, though??

(The rudest video I ever saw was, from what I could deduce, some kind of Japanese sex class where a shedload of people were .. doing things in neat rows. I thought it was hilarious!)

You are right!  I do not know how high a proportion of people do watch porn, but this email supposes it must be a large number.

Oh, and I have had another copy of that email, this time with a slightly different password, to an email address that I have not used for many years.  So if anyone else has had it, there is no need to look up how to purchase $10000 worth of bitcoins.  It really is a scam.
