(Picture is  of brown and white horse jumping for joy in a field)

This is lovely Angrove Rumbaba, Rummy,he's a racehorse and I lease a tiny share in him. You'll realise perhaps that most racehorses don't look like Rummy.

The BBC made a little feature about him and it was on the news programme Inside Out this week. Some of the other members of his syndicate are on the programme. I'm not, thankfully. I hate seeing myself on videos, etc.

If you fast-forward to 19 minutes 42 seconds into the programme you can see the piece on Rummy and his lovely owners Heather and Lev.  Prepare for a few happy tears if you are as soft as me.
Here's the link to the programme.

Thank you Yvette! I thought you might like to see this too, Rummy jumping at his trainers.

Also, my favourite pic because I think it looks like a Rembrandt painting - this was  taken by his owner Heather this summer on the day we went to visit him. The lady holding him is Jinny, who looked after him on his holidays.  The young woman on the left is his usual jockey, Rebecca (Becky).

It is like a Rembrant - what a wonderful photograph.  Does Heather have photographic training?

Hi Noisyworld - yes, it's more than a tad moist here in Zummerzet!  Rain is back meaning business today, so waiting for further flood warnings.... but, as this is the Cheerful thread, I shall look on the bright side;  after all the wet stuff we've been having, there shouldn't be any hosepipe bans for the foreseeable future  ;-)

I wouldn't bet on it.

Any way hope you have got your water wings ready and your wellies on.   >biggrin<

Something else to be cheerful about:  I live on the second floor, so if my place floods, then there's really a problem  >biggrin<
