Title: Kidz to Adultz Scotland
Post by: seegee on 05 Sep 2017 08:11PM
If anyone's interested in equipment & information, mostly for families with disabled children & people who work with them but extending to disabled adults - this FREE exhibition is at the Royal Highland Centre, Edinburgh on Thursday the 14th of this month.

If you're a long way from Edinburgh, there may be another Kidz to Adultz exhibition closer to you at another time of year; there are ones near Manchester, Coventry, Farnborough and Cardiff.

Looks good especially the Funding Point.

If I had had the proper help when I left school my life would have been so different. Moving from being a disabled child to disabled adult can be traumatic. I know someone who has juvenile rheumatoid arthritis there was a good chance she would grow out of it, but at 22 she is now looking at accepting being disabled and changing her outlook a bit.

Sorry drifted off topic. Thank you for the link, I can't go to stuff like this too many people and too much noise, but plenty of others can go.
