Merry Christmas.

If it turns out not to be merry, I wish you a tolerable Christmas and good things next year to make up for it.  Yes, the next year may be horrid, but there can still be moments of love and kindness and pleasure amidst horridness.

Lots of love and big hugs for all that want them or need them.

(I'm an obsessive problem-solver, so feel free to ignore any suggestions or solutions I offer, even if they sound terribly insistent.)

Hi everyone
I've been very unwell for a couple of months but over the last week have significantly improved daily, just in time for Christmas thankfully. I've been on my own today but nevertheless enjoyed the company of my dog and the TV. Tomorrow I'm spending the afternoon with my previous foster parents and a previous friend from my teen years who also has serious mental health problems so I can be real there.

I hope everyone had an okay day and that no one was lonely.

And the inevitable question - what are you going to buy with your Christmas Bonus from the DWP this year?
Well, my Christmas Bonus will possibly spent on bus fare to get to a hospital appointment, if it arrives in time, it hasn't arrived in my account yet.  The wife's will be spent on a jar of coffee.

I wonder how long the Christmas Bonus has been £10.
