Sorry to dampen your joy kizzy, but you are limited to only ONE bar a week, after which the threat of strokes increases.
The day war broke out, my Missus
said to me – she looked at me and she said, "What good are you?"
"Well," she said, "All the young fellas'll be getting called up and you'll have to go back to work!"
 Ooh – she's got a cruel tongue!

I've re-read the article twice and can't actually find where it says that....

One bar a week??   That's like, hardly any chocolate to make a difference either way, I would have thought (like, say, one single glass of wine a week).  It's not a lot of choccie!!

It's what they said on BBC Breakfast this morning.
The day war broke out, my Missus
said to me – she looked at me and she said, "What good are you?"
"Well," she said, "All the young fellas'll be getting called up and you'll have to go back to work!"

Ah, but the Mail says the opposite.  Clearly they've been reading different research press releases.  Do you suppose there's a lot of research into chocolate?  It could tempt me into research.

Kizzy, I think your brain won't recognise it >confused<  - the most choc eaten was only slightly more than a bar a week.

And anyway it only talks about men - so sorry all you women no choc for you >whistle< >chocolate< >chocolate< all for us men >tah<

I have just had to suppress a very un-moderator-like response to that, I'll have you know...

It would involve just one single smiley  >whistle<

The authors of the study warned of the high sugar and fat content of chocolate.

"It should be consumed in moderation,"
Quote
mod·er·a·tion
noun
1. the quality of being moderate;  restraint; avoidance of extremes or excesses; temperance.

A small bar of chocolate is fine for everyone... so enjoy...

Sorry, moderation only computes in my brain part of the time.  One of the joys of mania is the unbridled pursuit of ever more chocolate.

That's interesting, Sunny - when I get manic, I lose interest in eating generally...including chocolate!!!  (with the consequence that I get even more revved-up because I am effectively 'fasting'  >erm< )

Dare I confess I have two plastic crates full to the brim with chocolate.  The last time I was manic I started panicking about the impact of cocoa blight upon future chocolate supplies...

Gosh! I couldn't do that - my compulsive eating means that any chocolate that comes into the house has to be eaten in one sitting   >blush<

Do they say how big the bar should be. ?  >whistle<

Hurtyback, I think we ought to help Sunny Clouds eat it before it melts.  >cool<
