Grayling comment, compare with....

  • on: 09 Oct 2012 08:53AM
So Grayling feels it right that a householder who kicks an intruder into their home when they (the intruder) is on the floor unconsious (spelling?) could face prosecution for gross violence, how does this compare with his attitude to someone who though seriously disabled is taken off benefits put on JSA waiting to learn the result of an interminally long appeal procedure takes his/her own life or dies before the appeal result in their favour is made known?

I meant to add in my opening post,

When many seriously disabled people are on disability benefits they are to some extent already down, for this government to then kick them again and again with repeated DWP/Atos assessments is to my mind grossly disporportionate.

Agreed with you jlrrac.
Ive no energy left to fight anything, very tearful, and appealing against hubbys put in the wrag group and should be in the support group, he fits their own criteria, but they dont use their own criteria.......... and move the goalposts.

Blimey, you must work for Atos ... that sounds like something that might come out of a Work Capability Interrogation Assessment Manual. >erm<

Oh, I wish ...

I think that should answer the first part of your question.  And in answer to the second part, I'd have absolutely no idea how to operate a combine harvester or metalworking lathe but I'm quite able to cope with a kettle and toaster.

Any more questions?
