I liked a Facebook page called https://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Bastard-Weather/208716055966068, the forecasts are meteorogically accurate but couched in somewhat earthy language.
Somehow it's actually very funny, Wednesday's day of heavy rain was described with a map of the UK and "F$^^^ P$$^$$ Down All Over The B$^$d Place"  superimposed over it.

 >lol<

Armstrong and Miller's 'Heroic Meteorologist' sketch is also amusing:

(Contains some mildly naughty language).

Apparently aunties' boots have not prevented snow on Dartmoor or Exmoor. Maybe auntie will need them after all.  >Cloudandsnow<

Oh my goodness! I hope those photo's are not personal to anyine on here?!

It is very wet and windy here again today. It was just 3c this morning and some of the stuff was a bit sleety but, at least, it does seem to have warmed up a bit.

going out for a meal with friends this evening. The restaurant is just up the road but we will certainly not be walking up!

Not as far as I know, I just googled on cat flood, dog flood.
As least we are not having to suffer this, (yet) :-

Rain, wind, rain and more wind here.

Half the fence came down at Christmas when I was in Ireland, next doors side is half falling down too.  We both agreed to get both fences renewed in spring, thank goodness we decided on that, as I fear the new fence would be down by now !!    >Darkcloudraining<       >Darkcloudraining<

Bright and windy.

I have washing to put out, so it probably won't be long until the rain arrives.

Had a good blow last night. Three of my neighbour's fence panels down in my garden, Only a few bent daffodils so no significant damage.

There is quite a bit of small branch and twig debris from the trees but I don't see much sense in picking that up until the winds abate for a period.

Did look as though one sizable tree had come down on my route into town. Is now cut up, but I don't remember the chunks being there earlier in the week.

Yesterday was a lovely sunny day and I managed to get a bit of gardening done.  I felt so much better being out with the blue sky and really enjoyed pottering.   My snowdrops are flowering a d I noticed a lone primrose out.  A small clump of violets are flowering as are the cyclamen.   The daffodils are in bud but not out yet.
Today the weather is overcast with rain showers.   The wind has eased thankfully.

 >lol< my husband did actually manage to do that a few years ago.   Put the fork through the water main.  Good job he's a plumber!
